New Accreditation Requirement
Non-accredited schools that enter the MPCP in the 2006-07 school year or thereafter must apply for accreditation by December 31 of their first year in the MPCP, and actually achieve accreditation by December 31 of their fourth year in the program.
Accreditation Deadlines:Sept. 30: Deadline for
continuing MPCP schools that were not approved by PAVE for scholarships in 2005-06 to apply for
accreditation.
Dec. 31: Deadline for schools
new to the program in the 2006-07 school year to apply for
accreditation, unless already accredited or approved for PAVE scholarships for the 2005-06 school year.
If your school is neither accredited nor PAVE approved for 2005-06 you must apply to one of the
approved accrediting agencies by the appropriate deadline.
Many accrediting agencies have their own application deadlines prior to those listed in Act 125. It is absolutely essential that schools be in contact with an accrediting agency as soon as possible. Schools that fail to apply for
